After a 6.5 hour delay, we have been sitting on the gdmf plane for a full hour. After we boarded the pilot announced there is a discrepancy in the fuel gauge and what they said they loaded. so we waited for the fuel tech to come look inside the wing to see if there is fuel. But the fuel tech said the fuel supervisor had to come look and maybe install a new fuel gauge.

I am not kidding. And if the kid behind me kicks this seat one more f'ing time I'm going to throttle his mother who heard me ask him to stop at least twice and i asked her directly to stop him and she responded "I can't control him, I'll have to change seats with him" and he said "but I want the window" and she said "ok" and kinda hopelessly shrugged at me. I am no longer in a good mood AND I'm going back to Florida where I am hated and have been warned not to even come visit let alone dare to live. Vacation is over.

Delta is really trying to make up for the delay the other day. So far they have given us almost $250 worth of miles and $60 in food vouchers - oh and a bunch of candy when we boarded lol Plus after I filed the travel insurance the total was enough to cover the premium and still have a chunk of change left over. Slightly less painful.
